POP+ALE
Sensory cocktail module
Seohee Hong / Soojin Chae
POP+ALE enriches the experience of the cocktail bar by proposing sensory modules, stimulating overall enjoyment in the selection of cocktails. When you hold and feel the module, it activates your senses of vision, smell, and touch, enabling you to imagine the taste of cocktails as the module explores its color, fragrance, and texture. Therefore bartenders and customers become more interactive to explore different cocktails and finally savor the taste of drinks with satisfaction and amusement.
The modules consist of two parts: heads and bodies. Heads display two main tastes mixed according to the taxonomy pattern. The height of bodies express the level of alcohol, inspired by the linguistic expression of ‘heavy and light’ taste of drink. |
